I like the concept of not leaving your friend behind. If friend will be moving on, then have it in a backpack for easy transport. But I would encourage friend to remain on the property and have a tent ready to pitch for him. Having outposts with another set of eyes and a strong back may benefit you. You covered most of the 10C's but I don't recall seeing a cotton bandana and a canvas needle. Also we are assuming friend knows how to use this equipment, else written instructions may be helpful. Overall, good job, I like it. Let's hope friend appreciates it.

Btw.....I live in SE Idaho. I relocated from Orlando, Florida. The duffusses from the NE, Michigan, Ohio, etc., have destroyed my home state. So....I used to travel nurse all over the USA, and my Daddy had been stationed at Mountain Home AFB when I was 12. I've been here for 5 years, and I can not believe how the Californians have taken over Idaho.....causing the cost of living to skyrocket. Sad. Love your channel. I just happened upon it. That's why I bought an off road 21' bug out RV and moved away....😅. Seriously. I give advice or warn people, but I stopped trying to educate the naysayers and uneducatable. They just would say the same thing......"I'll show up at your place." Nope! As an ER/ICU/Trauma Nurse, I have my gunshot/stabwound kit, all medical supplies, freeze dried foods, water purification, military grade masks, and weapons....AR & 9mm. Only fools overstock at their homes. Survivors can fish/hunt/trap, build shelter from what is around them, build fire with wood and string, and purify water with what they have. Preppers won't be able to carry hundreds of pounds of food & water on their backs if they are forced from their homes. Sad. Society is lazy, overweight, diseased, uneducated, and lost. Society has become too dependent on the government and others to live. Sad. People need to learn "Bushcraft" abilities and basics. Think of how our ancestors survived. ❤

Great idea, but as soon as they get the smallest amount of moisture on them, they fall off. If you do use this, apply dermabond(aka medical superglue) over it when done.

Thank you, I have a friend that is a lot like you, he keeps telling me to make a bug out bag, except I really can’t afford to do it, basically I will have to make do with what I have, I will slowly make a bag now that I have a “list” to guide me. Again thank you.

I'd pull the firing pin out of the scatter gun, before I gave it away.

If you have cordage and a blanket, you can make a horseshoe pack to carry items that are not too bulky. No need for a bag.
